Prepare your email accounts on Flazio and keep a backup. Start the domain transfer only after receiving and viewing your website copy.

How to recreate your email addresses on Flazio
If you choose to transfer your domain, recreate your current email addresses on Flazio. Back up your emails before the transfer: their history is not copied automatically.
If you want to use Flazio Mail after the transfer, you can import your email history from a backup: follow the steps below.
Set up your email in other clients
Use these settings for Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail or other email clients.

Bring your received and sent messages, along with the emails saved in your folders, to Flazio Mail.

Download a backup of your emails
Before transferring your domain, download your emails from your current provider and save a backup, preferably in
MIMEorMBOXformat. Include every folder you want to keep. -
Import your inbox into Flazio Mail
Log in at mail.flazio.com. Select Inbox in the left-hand menu, open the three-dot menu and choose Import to upload the backup of that folder’s messages.

Repeat for your other folders
Follow the same steps for Drafts, Sent, Spam, Trash and your personal folders. Select each destination folder and import its corresponding backup.
Keep your backup until you have checked that all messages have been imported correctly.

Viewed the copy? You can now transfer your domain
Request the auth code from your current provider and enter it on Flazio. The transfer takes approximately 7 working days.

When you access the platform, you can enter the auth code directly on Flazio.com to start the domain transfer. Alternatively, send us the code at support@flazio.com.

Subdomain: leave it blank, if your provider allows it, or use the @ character to indicate the domain root.

How long does it take to transfer the website?
Copying the website takes about 5 business days.
A domain transfer takes approximately 7 business days for technical processing.
DNS pointing takes approximately 24 hours.
Can I keep the domain?
Yes, the domain always remains your property.
Will my email keep working if I only point the DNS?
Yes. Your current provider continues to manage your domain and email accounts. You do not need to recreate accounts on Flazio or import your email history.
Change only the records needed to connect the website and keep your provider’s email settings.
Where and when should I configure the DNS records?
Only after receiving and reviewing the website copy, open your current domain provider’s control panel and configure the A, CNAME and AAAA records listed in the guide.
How can I keep and import my email history?
Before transferring your domain, download a backup of your emails from your current provider, preferably in MIME or MBOX format, including every folder you want to keep.
Log in at mail.flazio.com, select Inbox in the left-hand menu, open the three-dot menu and choose Import. Repeat for Drafts, Sent, Spam, Trash and your personal folders, uploading each backup into its corresponding folder.
